I was simply bringing to the thread an interesting possible scenario from Bongino I had not heard here yet: that there is some talk of him seeking his Senate seat once more in 2020.

Of course he'll run. And he'll win. And here's another tidbit for others. Senators do not "recuse".

Senators don’t “recuse”, but they do “abstain”. If Session retakes his seat, let’s hope he doesn’t do that.

RE the “senators do not recuse” - I was struggling to say that, but failed. Thanks for the better statement.
