Senators don’t “recuse”, but they do “abstain”. If Session retakes his seat, let’s hope he doesn’t do that.

With all due respect, this is a ridiculous line of reasoning. What would Sessions find it necessary to "abstain" on. Which particular votes? And why?

Does Romney need to abstain from certain votes because he once ran for President? Did McCain? Rubio? The list goes on.

It's time to put the Sessions hate to bed. He holds no office at the moment. Done is done, can't be undone.
