Well, if recusal was part of the Plan, then no, he didn’t bow under pressure. While I have not at all studied in depth the career of Jeff Sessions, it is my understanding that he is one of the most ethical persons to serve in government ever. That is the perspective I lean toward. I just have a hard time seeing him as being as feckless as he has been made out to be. But I’ve been wrong before.

I do not think that if he regained his seat, he would ever bow to that kind of pressure when it seems he had not done so before as a senator.

I was simply bringing to the thread an interesting possible scenario from Bongino I had not heard here yet: that there is some talk of him seeking his Senate seat once more in 2020.
