awful. fox news host chris wallace tells president trump: you’re seen as a “beacon for repression”

It seems with each week FOX News loses a little more respect from its conservative and pro-Trump base.

Last week FOX News jumped on a court case to support Jim Acosta’s right to be a jackass and hijack White House pressers.

On Sunday FOX News Sunday anchor Chris Wallace told the US President in his one-on-one interview that he is seen as a “beacon of repression” around the world.

The media is over 90% negative on Trump despite his record economy and stellar foreign policy and Wallace attacks the president for questioning the fake news media?

How awful.

Chris Wallace tells President Trump that his 'fake news' attacks make him be "seen around the world as a reason for repression” (!) and Trump replies by reassuring him that 'fake news' doesn't mean Chris Wallace (!!) … most of the time (!!!) pic.twitter.com/wTerUxT5Tp

The Hill reported:

Fox News Sunday anchor Chris Wallace told President Trump that he is viewed as a “beacon for repression around the world” because of his repeated attacks against the press.

Wallace made the statement to Trump while conducting a sit-down interview with the president that was aired on Sunday. In it, Wallace pressed Trump about his rhetoric in regard to the media, noting that most presidents haven’t like the coverage of their administrations.

I did not see the interview. Just read the report on it.

Don’t watch TV. Occasionally at night when I go to get my 93 year old father ready for bed.

Here’s a newsflash for you, Wallace: you are a beacon of ignorance and evil, and are a conspirator against all that is good and right in America. Guess who doesn’t watch Fox anymore, thanks to jackasses like you? Go on, just guess.

“I am curtailing my watching FOX by leaps and bounds with 3 or 4 exceptions including Levin.”

They’re usually pretty good from 4 am - noon and 1 pm-2p on weekdays; 6 am-10 am Saturday and Sunday.

Trump should have known what a weasel Wallace is. Refuse to give Fox News any more business.

On Sunday FOX News Sunday anchor Chris Wallace told the US President in his one-on-one interview that he is seen as a “beacon of repression” around the world...oh well, Chris, lots of people see you as a pompous liar - we all have to do what we have to do and not let other people's perceptions bother us.....

“...Do it. Drain the Swamp. Destroy the Deep State. ...”

That might take a lot more than words, Tex. On our part as well. He has an Army of supporters if he needs us.

Just sayin’.

Wallace is “suspicious” as hell. He was a never-Trumper. Why is the President even sitting down with this man?

Wallace’s interview was perhaps the most smug and condescending performance I’ve seen on Fox News. It’s getting to the point where there’s no safe haven for President Trump to speak to the media.

When deception, ignorance and stupidity keeps increasing exponentially, not just here in the US but world wide and begins to reek to high heaven and not just promulgated by plain ordinary folks, who may be excuse for not knowing any better. But also from people who we may consider to have a higher IQ, I just have a feeling that sooner than later you know what will hit the fan, and probably some unexpected incident will touch off the proverbial powder keg.

And that is why I did not watch FOX NEWS AT ALL ON SUNDAY...not for one min. did I turn on Fox...and there was a day I was totally addicted to that Network...

But Chris Wallace, makes my skin crawl..i can’t stomach him at all and will not listen to him...

also can’t stomach much of Brett Hume..and use to follow every word he spoke...no longer...

Guess we do wise up when we get OLDER THAN DIRT...

I’m not older than dirt, but I’m old enough to agree with you on those calls. I’ll be 71 next month.

My father is 93 and for his age still does pretty well. He has some illness that have no cure, but he still jokes and laughs. He still understands most things, especially old familiar things.

I watch almost no TV. Only if my wife suggests I might want to look at something that is on. She has TV on day and night. Headshake. But she shares my views on almost everything, but we have been married for 47 years.
