Not racist at all. Perhaps the 2 students felt like the spot light was on them. Which could be rectified by the principle saying “Please do not single out those 2 students” anymore. They feel awkward about it. There. Done.
I can understand. A black girl I met who hated sports told me she couldn’t stand it when people asked her how good she was at basketball. Just annoyed. That’s all. Not a freaking federal case.

I'd answer that with questions. "Have we in America made mistakes in the past? Have we in America done good things in the past? If we don't know about the past, how can we avoid the mistakes and repeat the successes?"
Then the statement "That is why we study history". A smart open minded kid will get it. The others will ignore it, but then they're ignoring anything of consequence anyway.
Your first mistake was playing by their rules (i.e., attempting to exaggerate the contributions of blacks.)

I dont understand what you supposedly did that was wrong. You spoke to 2 black kids about blacks in American history? How is that offensive? Perhaps it was how you said it.

Public school education is over in the US. A better, more well rounded education can be had with the McGuffey Reader series.

This isn’t rocket science. Organize conservatives in your community. Show up at local schoolboard 500 strong and demand that the principal be fired. If that doesn’t work, ostracize the schoolboard members and refuse to sell them water, food, clothing and energy.
