WTH - Judge Timothy Kelly grants TRO and orders White House return Acosta's press pass? Seriously? "The harm to freedom of the press outweighs orderly press conferences"?

I’d tell that damned judge he has no jurisdiction over who can and can not enter the WH. Then I’d tell him to FO.

DC court, or NY district? Trump will fight this in a higher court or simply stop giving briefings. Sarah has all but dropped briefings.

Seems to me that Acosta infringed on freedom of the press by hogging all the time and not allowing the others to ask questions.

In addition, the press room is not big enough to hold every press person there is, so the WH has to be able to make choices on who they are going to let in.

No way should they have to put up with incredibly rude behavior from reporters. To me the reporters are there by invitation from the white house.

I don’t agree with this judge’s ruling.

Response: No more press conferences. If one is given, make a pronouncement, with no questions allowed.

Wasn’t it Obama that ran months at a time without a press conference. Of course he never did anything except issue Executive Orders.

Seriously? “The harm to freedom of the press outweighs orderly press conferences”?
_______________

There is no harm being done to the Freedom of the Press. In another post I stated that Freedom of the Press does not translate to free access to Presidential conferences.

Our President need to ignore this unlawful judgment.

With all due respect judge: SKA-REW that!

Acosta isn't "free press", he's a disruptive RATagandist.

Posting blind here, but I saw Trump this morning in press gaggle at his desk speak about that. He said that there needed to be decorum in the White House. He had several remarks delineating the offensive and unfair-to-other-reporters behavior, then lowered the boom that he has instructed his people that if they are not being treated appropriately they are free to leave.

In other words, no more questions from the others...which would likely not make them happy with the culprit who violated decorum.
