Sorry. I saw those issues as issues Q had raised and therefore legitimately game for the thread. Yokel wisely chose to take it to PM and I’m happy with that. For some reason, I had no idea it would offend you or anyone. Might be the strange ways my mind works—or doesn’t.
I was NOT seeking nor expecting a debate. I was seeking perspective, a sounding board, help about how to think about such things that Q and the fires etc. had triggered discussion on.

I think there’s more than one answer - we’ll all make decisions then. Some may find they best employ their knowledge by posting to noobs in the forum (some have that gift), some may start their own Q threads (again) or find other forums where their knowledge is best utilized, some of us will keep this thread as a home base. Really, I think we’ll go wherever we feel called and that our path will change with the circumstances. I’m not worried - I feel grateful. :)

Was in and out a lot. Did not have the same level of interest loved ones and friends did. Was probably more up-to-date from what I was told 2nd hand than what I read personally.
I am increasingly sorry I gave you a hard time about your tag line.
At the time I was adamant “Quidam” was a fraud. At the time, Starr and OIC was investigating obstruction of justice and witness tampering involving witnesses in Whitewater. Low & behold, Monica Lewinsky got a job (the same way) and Drudge dropped the bomb. Quidam appeared!
As the investigation continued and it became increasingly evident that Lewinsky was legit, Quidam actively encouraged people to ignore all that perjury and obstruction of justice because ... OIC supposedly had proof that there was cocaine all over the rug at the desk of the oval office from Sick Willy coke parties. This was absurd and completely ridiculous.
I then argued with posters on FR who ate it up that the apparent purpose was to “raise the bar” such that the apparent crimes would pale in comparison to the speculation and rumor. Meanwhile there was a concerted effort in the media to spread the line, “it’s just about sex”. So, then, when the referral was made to congress, the fate was set. It was only due to the stalwart efforts of honorable house managers, to include the Honorable Henry Hyde and, yes, Lindsey Graham, that impeachment proceeded only to run into a brick wall in the Senate.
That was not “Q” and “Q” is not Quidam. That proposition is the only thing more absurd than the appearance (and then prompt disappearance) of “Quidam”.
