I just thought it would be useful to hear from fellow Freepers on this election day:
1. Did you vote in 2016? 2. Did you vote today? (if not why?) 3. Any useful observations?
I haven’t missed an election in many years, maybe my entire voting life.
I have to go into the office today and will vote on the way in.
I’m wearing a red shirt and will have my MAGA hat on my head.
Will be voting after work at my precinct in Gloucester Point, VA.
They should be able to give him a provisional ballot!!!
Although I'm registered Independent we will both be voting straight Republican. Our congressional district here in Berks County Pa. is one of the swing districts the Dems need to flip so every vote is important. The court has gerrymandered our district to favor the Dems but we will see how this turns out...
Ill be trolling Libs all day so you dont have to lol
Going before lunch here in Pasco County Florida. God help us if Gillum gets in. If he does we need suggestions for a new red state to move to that will stay a red state. When we moved here it was red but its getting bluer and bluer. What a crying shame that someone like Gillum would even be considered as well as legally run with his socialist, racist leanings and being under fbi scrutiny.
It is clearly evident that Obama gets a full blown “Zero” as both a leader and campaigner. Obama cannot hold a candle next to Historic, Great, POTUS, Donald J. Trump!!! Obama looks like he has been dancing with too many deep puffs of reefer!!!
Yes, the wife and I voted “Mail-In” two weeks ago in Florida for Rick Scott & Ron DeSantis!!! Have not missed an election vote since I started voting in 1958. Fingers crossed and praying to God, Almighty, for Trumpie &
Company, and our great Nation Republic!!!
American Voters...”ALL”...Get Out and vote for the Trump GOP endorsed candidates...across the board!!! MAGA!!!
Wake up in the morning? I hope I can actually sleep tonight. I may need to invite my friend, Jim Beam, over for a visit.
Or this year Northam.
Voted last week with the wife and daughter. All for Cruz and Abbott. My rep is one of the wretched Castros, so we voted for his opponent, a Libertarian. Turnout was decent, but not remarkable especially for right after work. Beto signs outnumber Cruz signs but even they aren’t prevalent.
Voting in 10 minutes in Iowa.
Does your district have open primaries?
Just finished going with my wife in a very blue NJ county. Hopefully Hugin can provide the upset of the election today!
Love Jim. But try Makers Mark.
Currently out of the country so sent my absentee ballot in about 12 days ago. Straight ticket Republican.
Colorado doesn’t have “absentee” ballots because ALL statewide elections are 100% mail-in ballots ... all registered voters are mailed a ballot, they fill them out at their leisure and then mail or physically drop off their ballots at any time prior to the 7 pm closing time on election day ... postmarks don’t count either ... ballots must be in physical possession prior to 7 pm.
For the first time in my 50 years of voting, I voted Absentee. Wasn’t sure I’d be recovered sufficiently from surgery to make it to the polls this morning.
Also for the first time, voted straight Republican with a single fill-in-the-blank. I’ve voted all Republican many times, but this time I scrubbed the pen in the one box for all Republicans. Makes sense?
Going around 1 today.
I live in the bluest of blue GA - the Emory University neighborhood.
(thinkin’ of bailing to just over the border)
Will do. I’ve been buying the Jim Beam Black Extra Aged, and it’s scary smooth, and takes willpower not to guzzle. I’ve been eying Makers Mark, one shelf up.
