What you are seeing is real, and depending on how you feel about custom creations such as this, that could be a good thing or the stuff of nightmares. In either case, NBS Auto Showroom in Milpitas, California can set you up with all the details on this 1980 Chevrolet Corvette four-door and how to buy it, if youre so inclined.
Presumably, the sales team will also have some logic behind its asking price of wait for it $217,203. Mind you, thats not an even $217,200, but $217,200 and three extra dollars. Or to put it another way, it's nearly double the cost of a new Corvette ZR1. Then again, you cant take three friends for a ride in a ZR1.

looks like a model
Those plastic nosed Corvettes can be had for 3 grand, all over the place. For 217 large, you could build an entire Amtrak train out of them.
It’s ugly, but consider it an early attempt at a sporty sedan of that sort that are fairly successful today, like the MB CLS and the Porsche Panamera.
AKA the FrankenCoupe. Just damn.
Roger that, Dad had a 65 Rambler 4 door back in 70. That was 1970 not 1870:-)

That is the TurDucken of automobiles.
I bought a sky blue 1976 280Z 2+2 brand new in Latrobe PA. I loved that car and so did the girls.
Aaak !
If it doesn’t have wings to fly or bed to $crew on, I’m not paying more the $20K for it.
Bet it doesnt handle like a Vette.
And in a similar vein on the West Coast all of the guys owning one had to have a Tom Selleck/Burt Reynolds mustache...:^)
I pretty much lost interest in corvettes after the 1972 model year.
had a black one sold to my bro and bought a Jag XJS and regretted it ....
lucky for me i got the jag main seal leak two days before the warranty expired... fixed it sold it ... now rockin an ‘18 Audi RS5 and did 11.4 at ATCO.... 530hp and 540 torque.... black beast... ps the guy in the lane next ot me had a GTR that did 9.75...
cant win em all
I’ve always wanted a corvette. I finally bought an old one this year, a 1994. it is absolutely fun to drive but at my age difficult to get in and out of.
Then again, you cant take three friends for a ride in a ZR1.....
sure you can .... 1 at a time
or
what.... the two wont fit in the back..??
wonder if it’s built an an Impala frame?
Good question.
And We have the answer.
Each car was made by basically fusing two Corvettes together T-tops and all with the rear glass opening to make this a five-door hatchback sports car 30 years before the Porsche Panamera was born.
That’s Naaaasty.
so they cut and welded two frames together?
i can see blending two bodies and putting them on a single larger frame, but i wouldn’t want a bastardized frame under it
