I’m wondering if he can take the funding and tweek it into doing what he wants to do.
I suppose it would depend on the details of the spending bills.
The voter/immigration stuff would have to get through both the senate and president - neither of which I feel would sign off.
I think the reason Trump isn’t too upset is because in some or many of the cases where the Republicans lost it was RINOs that we hadn’t been able to primary. Sometimes it’s easier to go against your enemy than to go against someone of your own party, as we found to our dismay with W Bush.

Professional woman here. (Retired) My speculation is the group this may bother isn't professional women per se but insecure women across all categories. Sadly it seems too many women nurture their own insecurity.
As for professional women, there you have feminazis. Their sensitivity to this is fake, insincere, but that doesn't keep them from loudly braying their offense to the world. Yet, they really don't care about the appearance comments and say far worse to rivals.
MHO - our security in any walk of life comes from Christ, so the yapping of the feminazis accurately portrays their distance from their creator. I mean no offense to those here who are unbelievers I just notice it makes a huge difference.
No question however that’s not what they want or publicly, at least, expected. Far better to have held the House. Trump never admits defeat.

And no offense to you, dear Freeper, but my parts of the country (coastal blue) tend to see Texas as foreign territory largely because of their habits and style among women — the big hair, massive makeup, etc. It is here in the Northeast and out toward CA where I think the disconnect is as I describe.
Oh, and admit it — you tend to see women from, say, New England as somewhat different critters yourself.

I am looking at the glass half full: Our President is still Our President; no one said Nancy HAS TO BE LEADER; it takes 2/3’s of the Senate to impeach Our President and we have
the Senate; whatever the House passes has to be voted on by the Senate; Our President went after the Electoral College the same as he went for the Senate and we have a good stand on the USSC;... so heads up people we did good because we followed Our President!!!
It looks like just the threat of it is enough already to get offered concessions from Trump via twitter.
So I expect them to play that angle. Plus some show investigations. The question is how much real teeth they will try to put into it.

Trump is using game theory. The responses for the loss of the house have been well planned, with thousands of branches because it was a high probability event. Most of the retirements from both houses have been Repubs, not Demos, which surprised the heck out of me.
Why is this significant?
