I believe you. I’ve been shopping for cookbooks lately and there are a ton that have better reviews than those of hers I’ve seen. I bought three books from ATK and they’re all excellent.
Seems like forever since you posted a cooking thread. I don’t post much on those (because I just took up cooking as a hobby) but I always enjoy them.
She may live in The Hamptons but she hangs with the NYC elites most of them gay.
I used to enjoy her show and recipes. No more. I am sick of seeing Jeffrey eating her chicken and her gay Hamptons friends. I would never buy her cookbook.

We’ve had someone say that the more recent ATK/Cooks Illustrated books are not as good as they used to be. Some of my best recipes came from the earlier years of the series.
Didn’t she twice turn down a MakeAWish kids request a couple of years ago? She may be a good cook but she’s got no heart.

“America’s Test Kitchen” and “Cooks Country” claim to have all the recipes from all their shows. But it appears you’re not the only one saying that more recent editions of various cookbooks are not as good as their older editions. Another that comes to mind is “Good Housekeeping Illustrated Cookbook” which I also think is great, but I’ve seen a few reviews from Amazon that say it ain’t what it used to be.
I stopped watching Food Network years ago.

Have you noticed she always gets photographed from the waist up? I saw here at a Food Trade show some years ago and she was HUGE! She’s only about 5’2”.
Not surprised that she hates POTUS. She gushed over the Obamas many times during interviews on foodie shows.
