We’ve had someone say that the more recent ATK/Cooks Illustrated books are not as good as they used to be. Some of my best recipes came from the earlier years of the series.

“America’s Test Kitchen” and “Cooks Country” claim to have all the recipes from all their shows. But it appears you’re not the only one saying that more recent editions of various cookbooks are not as good as their older editions. Another that comes to mind is “Good Housekeeping Illustrated Cookbook” which I also think is great, but I’ve seen a few reviews from Amazon that say it ain’t what it used to be.
