Very slightly at a time, was gradually able to get her to adjust her style and tone. Perhaps to see that she was responding 110% out of emotion with too often little to no logic or evidence behind her responses (not that she'd admit that).
Gradually was able to nudge her into a more rational exchange. She's still blindly and ignorantly hostile to Trump and virtually all conservative constructions on reality. However, there have come up some very few areas of overlapping perspective.
She's still dedicated to guaranteed income etc. etc. etc. socialism etc. etc.
And, she'll fling a lot of videos and articles at me espousing her perspectives and constructions on reality. All of them have so many holes as to be like a sieve but she's not near ready to see that.
Currently she rants about how the caravan is merely desperately poor people wanting a better life. Denies that there are Jihadi's etc. embedded in it. She denies that Soros has anything to do with it. As more info comes out I send her the evidence.
I rarely rise to her bait--mostly ignoring her ignorant, rigid, clueless statements. I affirm anything I can. And I affirm her more even tempered tone and attitude toward the exchange.
Initially she treated me as though I were the devil incarnate.
It has been a good training for me. Have had to be much more careful about my word choices and tone with her hair-trigger, thin-skinned self.
Don't know if she'll ever see The Light sufficiently to become saved in His Blood--but I try. She still insists that Christ was real but merely an also ran great teacher yada yada yada.

It is true that the 2008-2009 crash has never really been adequately explained; yes, the real estate bubble and USGVT forcing banks to make unsecured RE loans... it just doesn't seem to add up to trillions on the face of it. Probably the 'trigger' was something relatively minor - but could have been S0r0s.
Perhaps one reason S0r0s has not presently been isolated is because he has the power to collapse the US economy now. I suspect that he has access to at least a $ trillion... hundreds of $ billions have been disappearing from the Fed Exchequer for a few decades.
For example, during the '90s at least $400 bil went missing from the DoD; more recently I think I heard a DoD figure closer to a $ tril. When Ben Carson took over HUD, I seem to remember he found a few hundred $ bil missing. No one ever wants to go find this lost $$$$$$$. One would like to think that it is just careless bookkeeping (government) but one strongly supects that the money has been diverted to ??? - maybe S0r0s et al for the DS takeover of the global economy.

Former Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland made a bombshell admission Wednesday at an otherwise quiet hearing of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence. She admitted that during the waning days of the 2016 election, the Obama State Department hosted ex-British-spy Christopher Steele to give a secret briefing to select staff on his anti-Trump dossier.

The revelation that there was a dossier briefing comes thanks to serious investigative work by chairman Richard Burr’s committee staff and thanks, as well, to smart questioning by the senator. “Based upon our review of the visitor logs at the State Department, Mr. Steele visited the State Department, briefing officials on the dossier in October of 2016,” Burr said. Then he asked Nuland: “Did you have any role in that briefing?” (Note that Burr did not ask whether there was a briefing, he built the existence of the briefing into the structure of the question, leaving Nuland no room to deny it.)
What she did deny was participating in the briefing—but she had trouble keeping her story straight. Asked if she had any role, Nuland told the committee “I did not. I actively chose not to be part of that briefing.”
“But you were aware of the briefing,” Burr pressed.
“I was not aware of it until afterwards,” Nuland claimed.
So, let’s see if we can sort this out: Nuland claims she actively chose not to be part of a briefing that she was not aware of until after it had happened. How is that possible?
