No, there isn't. CBP is ordering officers from non-Mexican border ports to the Southern Border and has been for years because staffing is so thin. Officers work six days a week, 12 to 18 hour shifts. They're not staffed to handle the normal border crossing traffic.
Even if BP was detailed to shore up the port, they'd still be too thin and BP is already under-staffed.
There's no way they can stop an additional swarm of several thousand illegals surging across the border. We SHOULD be able to stop this, but the time to prepare was years ago. It's too late.
