Hello Freepers....!
....LOTS of threads about the mass of illegal immigrants headed our way...as of this morning the numbers are estimated at between 5,000 to 10,000 men women and children. We can assume that this number will grow.
Now, we can also assume that Mexico is not going to be of much help here...and will leave this event for the United States to 'clean up'.
So, they are coming....they will soon be at the boarder...and they will not just 'stop' voluntarily....
What CAN be done to keep this from becoming a nightmare scenario??
Please be civil...and make your thoughts known.
Please no (shoot them all)....(burn them all)...regardless of how you 'feel' try and come up with a WORKABLE solution.
Do not be intellectually lazy... like saying (.....dude...I would put the military at the boarder and just stop them....)
...ok, how? Shoot them....? Yell at them to stop?....Arrest 10,0000 people? ....and put them where? For how long?
Perhaps we can brainstorm together and offer some real solutions .....
Lets make this a thread that offers real possible answers

Threats of putting them in jail will not be a deterrence if they will be fed better in jail than they would be back home.
Need to rapidly build a 10’ high concrete funnel that narrows down to two people wide and slowly circles back to exit back across the Mexican border.

Very simple if we did not have DemoCommnieCrats and RINOs giving aid and comfort to criminal trespassing invaders.
Forbid ANY Taxpayer funded benefits for anyone entering the country illegally. ZERO benefits for ANY REASON.
Implement a $100,000 fine on any business who hires a criminal trespasser. NO EXCEPTIONS
Eliminate the suicide like “Anchor Baby” loophole in our laws.
These 3 simple steps would prevent any new criminal trespassers and those who are here would self deport once their free ride ended.
Send in spies. You can invisible mark people. Mark all the Soros paid workers. Kill the Soros leaders. Stand an army in front of them. They will run the other way.
Bus them to Canada, why should they stop in the U.S.A.

Only the National Guard, and only in their home state under control of their home state's Governor, and adjacent states with the permission of the adjacent state's Governor, can be used, and that's all that has been used in the past. They did not perform arrests, they only acted as additional clerks to process paperwork.

Well, what "workable" solution would you employ if this caravan were to continue marching all the way to your property line, with the obvious intention of entering your home, plundering your goods, and setting up house in your living room?
You would most certainly go into "lock-down" mode, ready your arms and/or enlist the aid of men with arms.
How is this any different?

1. The mob must be repelled before reaching our border; this is not ‘immigration’, this is clearly an invasion —an act of war— by another people carrying flags of their nations, and Mexico is just as clearly complicit. Push is coming to shove, and a strategic defensive incursion to Mexican territory may be necessary.
2. Immediately change status of Mexico and all associated countries to a “Do Not Visit” (or whatever the proper term is from State Dept.). Make it widely known that U.S. believes Mexico and others are extremely hostile and dangerous places where the safety and security of Americans cannot be expected.

If president Trump asked, we could shut down the border in our area to traffic. Just about 20 large tractors or construction vehicles could block the roads.
As for people on foot you wouldn’t really want citizens with guns stopping them unless you had to but I’m sure there are plenty who are willing.
Understand Alexander....but it’s just not the ‘just stop them’ answers.... we have a war of ‘optics’ to win also.
If President Trump unleashes the”dogs”… or tear gas… Or water cannons… or any other means of active restraint… he/we will win the battle...but lose the optics war and the Republicans Will suffer at the ballot box. That is a reality… and so this event must be handled effectively and with good optics.
And there is the rub… How do we accomplish this?

No, Posse Comitatis does not prevent US Troops from being used to defend the homeland’s borders from invasion. Trump should probably also declare martial law.

U.S. Troops can shoot them, but cannot arrest them.
‘Spies’...take time...black ops..wet work. Its hazardous and exposes assets in Mexico.... Standing in in the military in front of them will not stop them from crossing our border… They know the military will not shoot them…
To put the military on the border and then let the illegal invasion happen anyway (which it will) is a sign of weakness… I do not believe the military a good answer....it may be the ‘right answer’...but it will not work here.
Perhaps in a ‘detain and contain’....but then the Visual ops and logistics become a nightmare… and once again we will lose the visual optics of this
