Pres Trump shares East Room stage with Sergeant Major John L Canley, USMC (Ret.), recipient of today's Medal of Honor, for conspicuous valor under fire, coming to the aid of fellow Marines, in 1968 during the Vietnam War.
During the Tet Offensive in Vietnam, Sgt Major Canley "risked his own life to save the lives of those under his command," said Pres Trump, recounting Canley's bravery meriting the Medal of Honor.
"You don't look 80 years old to me," Pres tells Sgt Major Canley, commenting on the fitness of the retired Marine.

WH says that before the ceremony, Pres Trump signed the Hezbollah International Financing Prevention Amendments Act (HIFPAA) of 2018, imposing "additional hard-hitting sanctions on Hezballah." Says measure will "further isolate Hezbollah" and reduce its access to funding.

Kirsten has to obey the law. It’s because of the laws and the difference in how we can handle Mexicans vs Central Americans.
I think by sending military JAG down there maybe we can get around some things and send them back as enemy infiltrators or something.

He's saying keep them and not release them..many in the Border area are still DS...making one wonder if Kirsten has not been a good fit. Come on we all know laws can be read different ways. Holding them!...make it almost impossible to process them! Make it a HELL to come in illegally.

Did you see Martha’s interview with Kirsten and the Border Patrol Union guy? She asked about Judd. Go back and listen.
I think they are doing all they can within the law. JMO.

They are overwhelmed and the courts are backlogged for years. Sessions has been hiring and sending out more immigration judges but more people just keep coming.

I’ll have to watch the rerun of that, as I was watching DHS Secretary explain how the laws and judges have stopped them from being able to do their job.

Sorry I don't agree here. Infighting is good...it makes people tell their sides and let's people see what each has done and can do. First I see she is telling Martha they are not going to shoot anyone. I don't believe a word she says now! A flag went up. I would fire her NOW! She has no right to say...we are not going to shoot anyone. When our military is being sent down...she is now putting limits out in front of the American people and the illegals on the march. My opinion.

Also....I think that before the military can actually stop these invaders, they (military troops) have to be deputized, in order to detain and deport them.
I read something about that, yesterday. I’ll have to look for that article.

Reading while driving? Just getting back to the thread sfter watching my kid’s game.
Yes, my 45 mile commute takes 1 1/2 hours each way, so I am able to read while driving. I know, really bad, but I don’t post (at least not usually).
