The City of Pullman is going all out to ensure that the first College GameDay visit to Washington State is a success.
According to Pullman Radio, the city has declared an emergency in order to prepare for the influx of fans into town ahead of Saturdays sold out game between the 25th-ranked Cougars and No. 12 Oregon. The decision, approved by the city council Tuesday night, allows Pullman Transit buses to help move fans around campus on Saturday.

Does Rathskeller’s still exist in Moscow, Idaho?
They’re lucky. Looks like the weather will be really pretty Saturday.
It can get butt-ugly there on the Palouse.
Go Cougars.
(boy is that hard to say)
Maybe Antifa will show up throw bottles of p*** at Herbstreit and Corso for displaying toxic masculinity and promoting capitalism through the cruelty towards cougars and ducks!
The City of Pullman-——
I thought that was just East of Roseland (South Chicago)LOL
No.
Pullman is a town, not a city.
Its supposedly shipped or transported around. With a coordinator and teams of alums and friends around the country
A pretty cool tradition
Pullman is a town, not a city.
I was talking bout the PULLMAN CAR MFG facility,, just “joshing” re the name and coincidence...
WSU alumni have teamed up and ship the banner to each other each week based on whoever is close to the upcoming Game Day. They’ve been trying to get media attention for their team ever since one year in the BCS days when they thought they had an outside chance of getting into the BCS championship game if only they could put themselves on the radar. This is back in the early naughts, maybe 2002 or 2003. Maybe this Saturday is the last Saturday we’ll see the banner. :) I doubt it, though. I think the Cougar banner at Game Day thing is its own tradition and will go on forever like a lot of college football traditions.
They’re also one of the fan bases that pushed the “We want Bama” meme years ago back when saying you wanted to play Alabama was synonymous to saying you thought you were good enough to play for the national championship. That’s what they all say. :) Many have tried, few have been successful (Ohio State in 2014, Clemson in 2016), and even then only temporarily (Clemson losing to Bama the next year in the playoffs).
DUUUCKS!!
Love coach Leach, go WSU!
Watching ‘Bama this year is like watching Patton rolling towards Bastogne.
Leach is a great coach and funny as a rubber crutch.
Go Oregon
Great story about Leach when he was an assistant at OU...
How Oklahoma used a fake script to trick Texas in the 1999 Red River Rivalry

And Leach is MAGA, big-time.
WSU 79 & 80
Once a Coug, always a Coug.
But Cougs also know that we have an amazing knack at snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Coug-ing it is a real thing.
Washington State and Mike Leach is a match made in Heaven. The administration has a great coach and leaves him alone, just the way he likes it. No A-hole Alumni groups pressuring Leach to kiss their butts, because that’s just not Leach’s style.
I’ll be watching Game Day from beginning to end.
Go Cougs.
