Televangelist Kenneth Copeland is quite a guy. He preaches a message of prosperity and abundance, and boasts about being a billionaire.
Earlier this year his ministry took possession of a debt-free Gulfstream V.
Worry not The Holy Spirit confirmed to Brother Copeland that the Gulfstream V was the plane the Lord had set aside for [him]. Furthermore, all the people who donated towards the ministry acquiring the plane are going to new places in the Kingdom for their generosity.
But getting the Gulfstream V wasnt enough, they also wanted a further $17 million to upgrade the avionics, interior, runway, and to build a new hangar.
This was hardly the beginning of his history with private air travel. In the past he enlightened us as to why preachers actually need private jets. Specifically, there are demons on commercial aircraft, and the devil is just trying to mislead people into thinking that theyre being excessive by flying on private jets. Heres that video:

Now one of his sermons from a couple of months ago is going viral, via Newsweek. The message from the sermon is that faith from healing comes from hearing. And you guessed it, this involves airplanes as well.
In this sermon, Brother Copeland shares a story from several years back about when the ministry only had a turboprop.
Heres the sermon, if you want to watch it (the relevant part starts 11min18sec in):

So, what did he do? Apparently their turboprop had some corrosion, and when Brother Copeland laid hands on it, it disappeared:
We went through that thing from nose to tail and they did X-rays of the fuselage and everything looking for corrosion. And there was somewasnt all that badbut the X-rays showed that there was some spots of corrosion. And so I was, I was praying over it. And just as plain, the Lord said to me, Lay hands on it. Ill heal it.
What?! And Id heard it plain. Well, he said, Kenneth. He said, Corrosion comes from the curse. He said, I provided that airplane for you, didnt I? I said, Yes, sir. He said, Lay hands on it. Okay. And I started praying in the spirit. And the more I prayed in the spirit, the happier I got.
So I just went upoh man, you talk about laying hands on that thing. I laid hands on it all over. And its a big old airplane. It took a while to do it, you know. Laid hands on that thing. Just laid hands on it all over it, and praised God and laid hands on that, and commanded that corrosion to leave in Jesus name.
They did more X-rays and came back, and there was just one little old spot there. I said, Lord, what No, He said, Im going to remind you. I said, Uh, what are you reminding me of? He said, They could have said, Maybe the maybe the X-rays were wrong.
Are you listening? So we laid hands on it again, and it was gone.
He was great!
I followed him a bit in the 70’s.
At the time, the concept that God doesn’t want poor Christians was fairly new.
Clearly he is a bit koo-koo now.
And he said unto them, Take nothing for your journey, neither staves, nor scrip, neither bread, neither money; neither have two coats apiece.
Nope, nothing about not taking a Gulfstream. Not taking the money might be a problem unless you can toss in a little jet fuel in with the loaves and fishes.
And no Stevie didn't crash at the foot of Golgotha, but yeah that's spooky.
Copeland is a fraud and a false teacher.
Man, I could make a fortune in the power business if I can get this guy to sign a contract.
Depends on which branch you're talking about.
Galatians 1:8
But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
The stuff preached to us as “Christianity” is not the Gospel that any of the apostles preached. it has been perverted by “The Church.”
“The Church” in its many man made flavors preaches various levels of Nicolaitanism.
A careful reading of John's first epistle, or James’ epistle, or paul’s epistle to the Romans will reveal that the apostles preached only Torah fulfilled in Yeshua’s sinless blood, yet the church preaches that his Torah was “hung on the cross.”
No one that follows that cruel lie will have any success looking for Yeshua’s narrow path.
What was hung on the cross was the Pharisees’ burdensome man made ‘law’ of Takanot and Ma’assim that Yeshua denounced completely in Matthew 23.
Every miracle Yeshua performed was a demonstration of how to break one of the Pharisees’ Takanot.
“Televangelist Healed Plane Corrosion By Laying Hands On It”
i’m not sure that’s a fully approved FAA procedure ...
Satan is going to lay his hands on this huckster and never let him go for all of the theft, deception and fraud he has perpetrated upon God’s church.
Can’t wait for Ernest Angely to have God give him back his hair so he won’t have to wear that (excuse me) God-awful wig.
He seems to be adept at laying hands on money.
Money cometh!
No, they had charletons back in biblical days as well.
I have an old 1997 Jeep Cherokee that is coughing and sputtering on its last legs. I wonder if he could lay hands on it and turn it into a nice new vehicle.
God can and will perform miracles in Jesus Name. But not for selfish gain, by fleecing gullible people to make yourself rich. The Bible speaks expressly against this.
That’s nothing...David Copperfield made a whole passenger liner disappear.....
No, when you follow Islam's dictates religiously you get murder and mayhem unless you submit.
