Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are expecting their first child in the spring, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced on Monday.
The royal couple touched down in Sydney, Australia on Monday and made the reveal just a few hours into their tour of the country.
Queen Elizabeth and other members of the royal family were told the news Friday at the wedding of Princess Eugenie to Jack Brooksbank at Windsor Castle, according to reports.
“Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019,” Kensington Palace confirmed on Twitter amid speculation after Markle wore a large coat to Friday’s wedding.

“Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public,” the palace said in a statement.

I’m waking up and my mind reads Angela Merckel and Prince Harry announced Royal baby is due in spring. And I thought “WHAT!” Then I read what’s actually there and laugh at how the mind plays tricks.
Should be a cutie, if, fingers crossed, it doesn’t have red hair. Red hair, if chestnut colored, gets a pass, but Harry’s ginger, curly hair has nothing going for it.
