Really! I was in the End Zone and watched that play from about the tenth row! I am now suffering flashbacks! All i could do was shake my head in awe at the havoc and destruction the one man wrecking crew that is Herschel Walker became that day!
I tell the story of this play any time great running backs enter the conversation! Also had classes with Bill Bates, tremendous athlete! I believe this game was truly Herschel’s coming out party! We have not seen another player as dominant before or since, JMHO.
