My dad used to say, “grandma is old but she ain’t slow”. He came from a farm in Arkansas, never had much formal education, but traveled to places with the Merchant Marines, and was very well read. POTUS made a quick exit from the venue after wrapping up his remarks at 2008 and the playing of the Stones You Cant Always Get What You Want and he was aboard the plane by the time your pooler could get to the aft staircase.
