Collins floor speech was directed at murky, IMO.
The plan mentioned this morning is Daines will not be there to vote and Murk will vote present instead of no, to balance it so he can stay at the wedding.

I thought it was an apologia to those pressuring her to vote "No."
Personally, I found the speech disquieting. She argues strongly that Kavanaugh is a closet "Moderate," who would be happy to support attacks on President Trump and other nefarious leftist schemes ... not to mention, who will be a defender of Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey.
At least she got the vote right (knock on wood ... later today).
