Understand that I felt so bad for BK, that I made a phone call of support to Judge K’s office and was next to tears about what they are doing to him. After reading this, I truly don’t know what to think.
Lindsay Graham said if McCain were alive, he’d be all FOR Kavanaugh. Romney was ready to appoint Kavanaugh if he had won. Little George W Bush has come out of hibernation and been making phone calls to Flake, lobbying FOR Judge K.
Was POTUS nominating BK actually part of a larger plan, knowing the globals would “resist” and block it, and then come through with a real solid conservative, aka Amy C. Barrett?
Trying to figure out what is really going on, and who is on which side, is mind-boggling. I would have never cut it in an espionage career!

Why do conservatives COMPLETELY IGNORE the fact that Kavanaugh was a lead investigator in the Vince Foster case and not only protected the Clintons but smeared a very credible witness (Patrick Knowlton) who wouldn’t change his story, that Foster’s car was NOT in the park?

That was when Ford started laying the ground work with her 2012 "counseling" record. She never named Kavanaugh because the same line of BS could have been aimed at Gorsuch.
He could have, probably WAS coerced to cover for the Clintons. President Trump may have set him free. I dunno. Mr. Trump is a pretty smart guy and a VSG so I’m going to trust his judgment. Also, no name never tried to block a Republican SCOTUS nominee that I remember.
You ask some fair questions, some which I’ve also grappled with, once learning of BK’s Vince Foster and close Bush connections.
What I’ve decided is likely, is that Kavanaugh, if (NOTE I SAY “IF”) he did in fact mess up and help cover things up with Vince, and perhaps other things, had to at times perhaps have the feeling that he was in over his head. His faith and family truly do seem to be everything to him. Just look at how the gun would have been unquestionably aimed at not only his head but also and especially that of his family.
If all of that is the case, (and it may not be,) I’ve had the thought that part of the deal going into this nomination is that he was forgiven any past indiscretions along those lines of being blackmailed by the DS (his personal life, I’m convinced IS spotless).... IF he would carry the banner into this nomination with the understanding that at a minimum he would be “Borked.”
I’m sure he, as well as all of us, were amazed at how the Dimms are seeking to plumb the very bottoms of the swamp to show us how low they go. (I also believe that we were probably nowhere near the bottom. And they are willing to go there.)
He was sincere and passionate in his self defense. He was balanced. He was fair to the accuser, and rightly placed the onus on the Democrat committee members.
In short, he deserved the Presidential tweet that he had shown the world why Trump chose him.
He, in my view, definitely deserves our support.
