What if Q needed to estimate the number of eyeballs on 8ch or the capacity of the 8ch boards to handle lots of eyeballs? How would he do it?
If you were Q, what would you do to get as many people on 8ch as possible?
Well, if I were Q, first I’d announce a Q&A. Then I’d pick and choose what to answer and post something completely over the top, like “We are not alone.” - implying aliens from outer space are here. (but I’d leave it ambiguous enough to plausibly deny later. I’d request more board capacity in the midst of all this and at the end of it I’d post about how many IPs were on the board.
Think about it. Q picked the following questions to answer:
1. Trudeau
2. Flynn
3. resignations
break for resource request
4. plane strike
5. aliens
6. FEMA alert
break to ask for resource upgrade, post about 330,000 IPs
7. moon landings
last post about 412,000 IPs.
I’m betting the Q team watched the number of IPs climb and determined that they were maxed out (either no new eyeballs arriving or board capacity maxed out)
Q has said that disinformation is necessary. Maybe the topics were chosen for maximum buzz to create a good test.
Trudeau was moderately interesting. Flynn was nothing new (if you’ve been paying attention). Same with resignations. Time to ramp it up! So 4 & 5! Check levels, now one more big push: moon landings! Ok, g’nite all, we’ve got our data: 412,000 IPs.
(Also, I’m now wondering if the 412,000 is accurate. Maybe it’s 10x that many. Do you think Q would tell the DS the real number?)

It used to be that some of the “anonymous” posts on 8ch were being seeded by “Q” team. Anons have not distinguished themselves in other Q&A but this seemed peculiar today. The Trudeau answer is interesting because I believe it’s referring to the couple that was supposedly a suicide (then not) that has been covered on these threads.

I read that Great Awakening had 2 mil. unique hits for August (I think it was) and 40K comments daily, but the last number I remember seeing on a Q post was 350K I thought, so 412K seems right... For me my one IP address = my wife and I both plus all our friends who are staying informed from us... a few that don’t even use the internet.

I was lurking in the Bread when this whole thing unfolded and I agree with your assessment that the Q&A was to test the bread capacity.
What I'm not sure about is does the 412k number include only IP addresses that were plugged in and posting or does it also include people like me who lurk but never post?

The topics you mentioned would be an excellent way for Q to test capacity, so I’ll bet you are right.
I still think some of the topics the anons picked were stupid. One of my top questions would be the particulars of McCain’s death.
