Lin-Manuel Miranda??? No, thanks! I'm not a fan of everything he's done, but he's quite talented.

Itll be bullshit
Written by a Christian or God in general hater and directed by a pool party cake boy
And lorded over by a #metoo
Though Emily Blunt is my favorite under 40 acting chick
Actually I withdraw my denunciation and scourge
Unless the studio got into editorializing which they do with gratuitous homosexuality etc
The director and writers have stellar track records
And it has Dick Van Dyke
A cameo by Julie would have been nicd but she declined for good reasons
Emily Blunts smokey eyes are to die for....

Me gusto Emily Blunt
mucho. But I'll be skipping this Mary Poppins re-boot. The first one was bad enough.

Lin Manuel Miranda - will not see it because of him. Thought he was a genius until he supported the Hamilton Casts dissing of our VP and expressed his love and support for Che Rivera.
This tool doesn’t deserve any of my capitalist money.

No more “spoonfuls of sugar”: Mary Poppins is now more Socially Responsible!

I thought Mary Poppins was in the second Guardians of the Galaxy movie.

I think Julie was cuter. To bad she went off the deep end. Or perhaps she was already there.

If you have ever read the books, Mary Poppins was not really pretty like Julie Andrews.
The children’s adventures with her were also a lot scarier.

They did bring back Dick van Dyke to reprise one of his roles from the 1964 movie. But NOT the chimney sweep character. Apparently he also played the elderly bank president and now he’s old enough to NOT need makeup for the role!

I'm not even a fan of the original 1964 musical (found it annoying as a kid), but I'm curious about the Dick van Dyke cameo because its only the second time in film history where I've seen "actor reprises a role he played decades earlier but looks exactly the same as he did in the original movie".
The first time was Ian McDiarmid as Emperor Palpatine in Return of the Jedi (1983) and Revenge of the Sith (2005).
Anyhoo, here's Dick van Dyke in the two Mary Poppins movies:
