Why is QAnon a danger to the Trump Presidency? Here are six well-reasoned points, provided by the meme blogger known as Carpe Donktum ...
1. With introduction of the Secret Plan and the "Kabuki Theater" that is required to believe in the plan, Q has placed himself in a position to "interpret" Trump. This undermines the power of the President's words and allows Q to change the message.
2. The net effect of "The plan" is a calming effect on MAGA people who SHOULD BE mad as hell about the lack of support the President is getting from his AG. It also numbs many to legitimate danger that the Mueller Investigation poses, especially if November goes poorly for MAGA
3. Q at it's very core lies about who he/it is, we do not know or understand the motives for this lie. Therefore we cannot predict how the lie could evolve and where the liar at the center of it might lead his followers.
4. Q has red pilled many about certain information that was already known to many of us. That's good. What is not good however is the rampant and reckless conspiracy theories that have been spawned after people with a little bit of knowledge but not much judgement, run with it.
5. Q has brought out the very worst in some it's followers, prompting them to attack any non-believers viciously. It has fed paranoia that many people that have played a vital role in maga have been deep state plants, simply because they do not believe Q is real.
6. Q has given hope to those who do not yet deserve it. Q says, trust the plan, watch the show, it's all taken care of. There is no hope without hard work and sacrifice. We need every single person to be on the front line fighting, not sitting back waiting for a savior.
“Who was ‘Quidam’ at FreeRepublic..?”
I remember when the total number of different threads at FR over the course of an average day was maybe just 20 or 30:
FreeRepublic really, really started pulling into high gear during the Monica Lewinsky imbroglio; we gained very many new members and Drudge linked to us (though the link was pulled a number of times, usually for understandable reasons).
People were marveling the way that Monica was for MONTHS still a story embargoed by the MSM and that 95% of the American public had never heard of her at all.
Here at FR we had scores of Monica experts; her personal phone number was even posted here, and many called it, just to hear her voice.
A guy calling himself Quidam, claiming to be a DC insider, made numerous cryptic promises about the future course of the Monica Matter:
Quidam said “The Grey Suits are about the walk up that hill..!”
The implication was that important DC people were going to talk to Bill, and he was going to have to resign.
Quidam had many adherants here at FR, and they were very emotional about his (her?) many pronouncements.
You just re-arrange a few things and the Quidam story mostly works for Q, as now.
Oh, of course there is the small matter of WJC never resigning from office, of course.
When nothing he said came true, Quidam simply disappeared.
Who are the circled people supposed to be?
Key word is "if."
THEY. WILL. IMPEACH. TRUMP.
They will not. What they will do however, is conduct endless investigations into Trump's prior private life, his family, and Trump's finances to stall his MAGA agenda.
But they will not impeach him. Because the risk is too great. The blowback from the Deplorables and Congressional Republicans will linger and it'll literally be open civil war.

Here's your answer: Q just isn't important enough for the President to tweet about, one way or another.
He already visited Trump just days after the election. Admiral Mike Rodgers, who saved the Republic and now has control of all the NSA communications.

To put a finer point on it, “Q” is not a conspiracy theory. Most of the information he posts is in the public domain. Its government documents available if you know about them, and press reports publicly available.
Some of the people who follow and post about Q try to fill in the blanks with their own conspiracy theories, and people conflate those with what Q is saying. Those theories range from the probable to the nutty, and for a lot of people, when they think of Q, they think of the stuff those people are posting.
Ignore that stuff, and just follow the links given, which are all in the public domain, and you’ll have a better idea what is going on than the average bear. I notice more and more Q’s stuff is starting to bleed into the mainstream news, but without attribution.
That’s because neither one of us are nuts. :-)
