I thought it might be fun if there was a Trump News Channel. During the day it would give first hand news on what our president is doing and what he accomplished that day or that week. Press conferences, interviews of visiting heads of state. Meeting updates. Totally transparent. There would be a few hours devoted to the business and finance, even some shows that would be informative on "socialism"...."fee enterprise" "History of our country" etc. Danesh D'Sousza would be the Executive producer. Newt Gingrich would be involved on content also. It would be a not for profit entity, but would sell advertising to pay for costs. NO tax payer funding.
In the evening it would have a line up
Yep!!
Give these reporters the very first row, and the first question at each presser. the liberal media’s heads would explode.
OTOH, you open up the commentary to all views.
I like the idea of educational viewing about our history.
well here’s the male-female perception coming into play...I watch her absurd commentary because she’s so doggone cute ;-) But then she tops out the scale of Cute vs Crazy...so there’s that. Cynically, I wonder if most of it’s not just an act to promote her “brand” and her magazine under the “there’s no such thing as bad PR as long as they spell your name right” theory.
The body language gal analyzed her and it was hilarious, how many of her poses are rehearsed and “no doubt the result of hundreds of selfies to find just the right look and camera angle”...
I will say, I don’t think men do that at least. Real men, I mean.
I agree it should be informative. In fact, that’s kinda what I was getting at with the first and third components. It should be like breitbart, and it should have a fast pace with a lot of audio/visual content. It should the opposite of PBS or NPR though. Those can delve into topics more than most, sometimes, but the pace is slow, the style is floofy and pseudo-intellectually self aggrandizing.
What do most news networks do to provide content to fill the spaces between commercial breaks (the real reason they exist). They put talking heads on with pre-scripted monologues, fill the spaces between segments or content with boring/slow graphic transitions, then provide interview subject (or a panel) and they waste time with lots of opinionated drivel and very little hard cold information!!!
I imagine Trump Channel having 5x the news staff, consultants, and content technicians then the best news rooms in the world, and I imagine the pace of delivering true information to far outstrip anything out there. Most shows give me Attention Deficit. You have to wait forever to get to the nuggets, and most of the time they never deliver on what they tease, not in a substantial way. I imagine a news delivery service that actually feeds your focus.
I'm glad to see others have discovered this little gem in the corner of the Twitterverse.
Cousin Eddie FTW! (He's like James Woods, except insane.)
THIS IS TNN
TRUMP NEWS NETWORK
ha ha ha
~~~
Would be hilarious if they paid James Earl Jones to voice that
a couple of thoughts. There are a group of young people that followed the trump rallies on you tube live streaming. They went by RSBN” or something ( Help me ere) any way I watched that all the time. IO have amazon firestick for my big TV and sound system. You can access Foxfire as an AOO. Then you gou to YOUTUBE and get anything on big screen. That group was largely ignored by Trump but they worked on donations and dids a great job. They had a news talk guy but it flopped. They could handle what you are talking about . All it takes is money.
My second thought is the ONE AMERICA NEWS NETWORK, They are wonderful on straight news but they are missing the Talk end of it and the celebrity end of it. I don’t understand the financial dynamics here but they should have Bill O’ Reilly and Gretta already over there to draw crowds and guests. They are so boring and just run loops now with what looks like journalism students getting minimum wage./= It is all about money but some one can make millions my remaking that boring channel. Anyway ,I agree with your premise,
Richard Goodstein, Juan Williams and that shabby looking freak who doesn’t shave...I turn the mute on all three...
Also, any Latino sympathizer, any Immigration defense attorney, any liberal talk show host.
Sorry, these people are so predictable it’s not worth my time, but the very worst of the bunch is that Richard Goodstein...Surely they have him on there for laughs.
It WILL have to carry the Trump name, and that logo will be in gold.
That’s how he endorses things like this.
But I think it would be a great idea. As long as everything isn’t headlined with “SAD” or “TREMENDOUS”
The idea is really Trumpian....
Goodstein reminds me of a gay waiter I used to know at a Chicago downtown restaurant. He always had a little puddle of sweat on his naked scalp.
By the way, piss OFF the LEFTIST Censors. FREE 3-D printed gun blueprints here, so download all 10 or so!
Why “not for profit”? There is nothing wrong with making a profit. My 4 principles of Capitalism are 1. Customer Service. 2. Make a profit. 3. Cut your losses. 4 Embrace the cost of doing business.
If founded by and under the name of one of his sons, and completely unaffiliated with him so long as he holds office, I can’t think of why it wouldn’t be completely legal and hugely successful. Plus, it would drive the established media even further off the edge and deeper into their shrieking death spiral.
I would have Donald Trump Jr. as the head with Ivanka Trump. We need more right wing broadcasting—to the Right of Fox. I would hire Others too—The best of Breitbart and The Blaze, add in Drudge and One America News. Lots of edgy in your face Conservative show—Show how the right can be entertaining.
“Maybe after he leaves office.”
exactly. if Trump still has energy and fire in his belly for new challenges, a new news channel for conservatives would be a brilliant thing for him to do ... by the end of his presidency, his real estate empire and money won’t mean very much to him at the age of 80, and if he’s looking for new challenges, he only has to provide the vision, financing and hire the right people to put it together for him ...
Tucker even had Goodstein as a contestant on that dumb Q&A news thing he does on Thursday nights——a complete waste of time IMHO.
Tucker’s monologues are superb,though.
.
Agreed. make it for profit....
No. I think all ex presidents, ALL, should retire from politics as well as retire from interferring with them, regardless of party.
I was thinking James Woods should be on there too, but couldn’t think of his new till you mentioned.
I know folks don’t want to hear this, but in order to be fair and unbiased, there needs to be truthful, even-handed Democrat news as well. Does the Democrat party do good things in government? I honestly don’t know because the MSM is so busy twisting everything, that any decent Democrat leaders and their good accomplishments for society get lost in the shuffle.
I know from personal experience, that if there isn’t any opposition, it gets boring.
The opposition should be represented, bit lies, obfuscation, insults can be dealt with. I like to see good debate between opposing views, but decently and in order.
Otherwise, what ends up established is another biased boring news channel. I’m suggesting something that sharpens tjemind, truly educates anybody who watches. Is that even possible? And no cable only access. Accessable through cable? Yes, bit also thru internet, and open air waves. Isn’t that what pbswas supposed to be doing or am I wrong on that?
