Media is being vague about how many actually showed up to view McCain's coffin at the AZ State Capitol. I can only find "more than 1500" or "thousands." I am curious--why:
McCain's very last campaign rally in 2016 drew less than 150--even with free dinner and drinks being offered. And.....
President Trump's rally in August 2017 drew nearly 20,000. The fake news media didn't want to talk about those big numbers.
I was one of the 20,000 who stood in line to see Trump in August 2017, and the temperature was 108. Mr RooRoo and I were in line for over four hours, some had stood in line for up to 12 hours.
Speaking of caskets. There was once this funeral and the cemetery was on top of a large hill. As the pallbearers were carrying the casket one of them tripped and the casket when streaming down the hill and rolled through downtown. As it was going through the drug store the lid popped open and the corpse said to the pharmacist, “do you have anything to stop this coffin”
A friend of mine pull this quote out the other day in perfect context. No one goes there nowadays, it’s too crowded.
I will believe the media when a dozen or so "journalists" douse themselves with gasoline and set themselves alight.
Considering that Senator McCain disinvited half the state from attending, the turnout was fine.

What the hell am I honoring that wasn’t present in a number of other senators? Robert Byrd was a more important senator, and he didn’t get this treatment.

FWIW, read earlier that the late Senator would have a funeral procession across country. Announced, then forgotten. Will they be moving from Arizona to DC by air or by land. Planning to wave a flag by the side of the road? (if by land) The whoop-la has been so great all reception of information has been turned off at this point. Sick of it.

Hmmmmm.......this whole situation is proof that McCain made A LOT of enemies in life, and he and his staff were often very rude to Arizona constituents.
I’m not a big Bush fan. but I hope this event isn’t too taxing for him.JM asking Bush to speak was indeed a selfish request.
