Maybe I should have emphasized, that in the original test as envisioned by Turing, the questions would be in text form.

A computer program could easily be programmed to answer that it had a favorite food.

In other words, you wouldn’t be able to tell if you were getting text answers from a program or a live person, except for the answers themselves. If you could.
