I was just having fun. I’m a Systems Analyst for a global IT concern. I know the Turing Test is no simple challenge.
Sometimes it’s hard to tell around here who is joking and who isn’t.
I asked the chat agent I was interacting with recently if she was a robot. She said "no, I'm not!" and later we spoke on the phone to complete my product return, and she was not a bot.
But, it's not as obvious as it used to be. Some of these automated help agents are pretty good, and some of the human help agents are pretty robotic.
I think Turing missed that latter point: people might start acting like machines in the future, which could also make it easier to pass the test.
Anyway, I guess it has not be passed yet.
