“None of their cars could push your happiness meter close to where itd be if you owned a Divo?”
I haven’t seen all their cars.
Awesome car and I could see me getting in and driving it... but paramedics and the jaws of life to get me out.
I like my truck, I climb in and fall out.
Here’s one doing 230 on the open road (legally):

Another hitting 246, again legally:

Additionally I’ve seen on in my home town just around the ‘go fast’ Idaho day.
Some folks drive ‘em.
The payments would be kind of steep for me.
I am blessed to own a very high-performance European sports car - one average folk can afford if you purchase it used as I did - and the experts tell me I can know nothing of its real capabilities unless I take it on the track. It is a subtle sleeper, and I love it because of the way it handles - not for impressing people. I actually hope most don’t notice it - which is a reality.
That being the case, WHY would anyone want to pay for and own this Bugatti? There is no way they can enjoy its capabilities except on the track - and it’s almost certain they themselves do not have the expertise/capability to safely drive such a machine anywhere near its limits!
Gotta be 100% ego.........but I guess, as it’s a free world to some extent - if you can afford one, why not?
If I remember correctly, the Chiron would use a litre oil every four minutes. So these cars are only meant to top out for no more than about 15 minutes at a time.
If you hit a pothole, even at a moderate speed, you’re probably looking at a $10,000 bill.
I agree... but shouldn't it be red? :^)
How many good massages could you get for 5.8 million bucks?
I would say that the Bugatti Divo is the nicest looking uber-car that I have seen. Attractive. With the emphasis on performance, function has to take priority over style that usually means the uber-cars just aren't that visually attractive.
I’ll take two. Put it on my tab. On second thought, charge them to James Comey; he’s rolling in it.
“0-Dead in 2 seconds!”
How about 0-bitch in 2 martinis....almost as bad.
Those are Big “D” Trump extra extra good type massages too. I would say at least 8 or 10 at least! Of course legal nondisclosure agreements may lower that total just a little.
I would agree with you. There are few who can afford a hyper-car and far fewer who can afford the car AND safety drive it anywhere close to its capabilities. Dale Junior and a few others, primarily former race car drivers. Great short video on Tanner Foust driving a Koenigsegg One:1. Check out his responses to the car's performance at around 2:20 (remember he's a world-class rally car driver with experience in a lot of other racing circuits).
That thing sounds like a beast!
Mine’s on order. Can’t wait.
You are joking!
