And after years of thefts, home break-ins, and dangerous encounters, I have concluded that it is no longer safe to live where I was born. I know many 5th generation Californians like that. Life was too easy for them and their families for so long. Now that it’s hard, they have no idea how to resist. In short, they are squeamish little wimps.

Illegal Aliens are counted or even guessed at (’imputed’) during the census and count for allocation of representatives and electoral votes, and for the creation of Congressional Districts. This is used to increase the electoral weight and Congressional Representation of Blue States and flip Red States.
And all this is before they even a cast a single fraudulent vote.

No, VDH as not how you stated. Back in late 1990s already he was voicing his concerns regarding illegal immigration. And he is the strongest and perhaps even only proponent of Trump presidency at National Review.

That’s the point. We had already voted in Prop 187 in 1994, and the Mexican Supremacist organizations had already torn it apart with the help of one federal judge.
Guys like Hanson were tsk-tsking about how mean it all was.
He was way behind the curve then and even further behind it now.
Multiculturalism and assimilation are mutually exclusive ideas.
Multiculturalism is the promotion of different cultures (value systems) within a country, with no culture being dominant.
Assimilation is just the opposite. It assumes a dominant culture and all people would forego whatever original culture they had and pledge allegiance to the dominant culture.
If you want assimilation you have to eradicate the multicults. If you want multiculturalism, forget assimilation. It’s that simple.
I don’t recall VDH being “limo wristed” on illegals.
