Just curious, if anyone's seen The Meg. I find the "Beyond the Seas" background music sort of weird as the shark is gobbling up swimmers in the trailer.
Shut up Meg.
What’s the Meg movie?
Jaws 19 was better.
It needs more cello.
Surprised they didnt use the Bobby Darin song I would have expected: Mack the Knife! :-)
...Or maybe they wanted to and some focus grouped was appalled by the idea! :-D
lol
If you like 100 foot CGI sharks. Sort of Jaws with less tension and a love triangle where the guy chooses the wrong woman in the end.
“It needs more cello.”
Nah...more cowbell.
Why was she the wrong woman other than the fact that she was Chinese to appeal to the Chinese movie audience?
Nah, Cello fits right in for this movie.
If she was gobbled up...wrong woman, I guess!
ROFL
I wanted to see it. Unfortunately, I fell asleep during most of it.
The deviates in Hollywood really get off on blood, guts, savagery and violence. But say they hate violence it in real life. That seems a bit odd.
I recall some years ago some of the best science fictions produced had none of that or very little.
Anyway, back to your movie...
Btw, I had no idea until now that “Meg” was the Simpson Meg...lol. I thought it was some movie with live actors. Doh!
It’s a terrible movie but my 9 year old grandson loved it LOL! I found it silly but somewhat entertaining.
What I HATED HATED HATED about the movie was the fact that they cast Australia’s Robert Taylor as the ship’s doctor—criminal!!! Robert Taylor played the iconic Wyoming sheriff Walt Longmire in the outstanding AMC/Netflix series “Longmire.” He was perfectly cast, born to play the part of the sheriff. I can’t accept Robert Taylor playing a medical doctor in a silly shark movie.
Ok, I’m done ranting, I feel better now.
BTW, if you haven’t watched all six seasons of “Longmire,” you’re missing out. It’s a really good series.
CGI is for the iPhag phone generation, where all life is encapsulated in a tiny plastic box. Life beyond the tiny plastic screen is meaningless to them,.
