I’m not nearly as deep into all of this as other people here, but I didn’t see the Adm Rogers meeting the way you did.
My guess was that Adm Rogers fully understood how deep the treason went and he wanted to drain the swamp. But he had no one to help him for years. He felt he could trust candidate Trump but could not say things to candidate Trump because candidate Trump was basically a guy in the street with no “need to know”.
But as soon as Trump won the election, Adm Rogers went right over and said (in effect): “Sir, as President of the United States you need to know exactly how deep the treason goes.” And he just laid it all out. I’m sure Trump knew a lot, but not as much as the Adm.

[Others were proposing that DJT got a full briefing on the treason early on and that the Admiral’s visit was possibly for other purposes, or a signal that that phase of the operation was over and they were launching into a new phase - as I, texokie understand it]

That is certainly possible. Good scenario painting!
... and in addition, it is possible that others, as you allow in your scenario, - whistle blowers, perhaps (William Benny?) had filled Candidate Trump before with most of the details, and then he got the FULL rundown and CURRENT DETAILS at the time from the Admiral for the reasons you cite.
Or.... if we believe Q hints, he was asked by the military to be the Swamp Drainer and to stand as a candidate. It may be possible that when he agreed, and because he did want to save the republic and not to force the military into a corner where an overt military coup would have had to be performed, then as a condition, he may have been given more than an ordinary amount of intelligence from the MI guys...but perhaps not the full download.
