Saw ELO at Denver Pepsi Center last Wednesday, 8,8,2018. Wow, show looked to n=be sold out. The wife and I had great seats. Section BBB, row 7. That is the center of the floor, row 7. It was amazing. Around 20 songs and I knew them all. It has been 35 years since ELO played in the USA and I was there. They have more dates before their last date in London. Two nights at Madison Square Gardens in NYC. Maybe 8 shows remaining. I highly recommend.
Yeah, they do that in the 2001 concert video I posted.

It is about 1/2 way through.
I think the fact that it is professionally produced, and CD quality makes it more enjoyable than the bootleg concert footage that is out there on youtube and this thread. Of course, the NOT GUILTY strings and backup vocals makes it more enjoyable as well.
Let me know what you think.
And if you know of a better Youtube concert video out there, I’d sure like to see it.
FREEPGARDS
No, planning well when young is nothing against God, it is just wise. I am 59 yo and retired when my company went crazy about performance reviews. Mine was terrible because the only thing good was work performance. I was not as early in regulation compliance video as some others so I was considered to be ranked in the back even though I was always on time. But my ranking was to be lower, even though I had high feedback on job performance. I told them to stuff it and left.
Aren’t they about in their 90s?
I forgot to add to the corporate nut squeezers, I am free from you and I am shopping for a McLaren 570S.
I think Jeff Lynne is the best kind of liberal.
So is Bob D.
I can tune you into some serious live footage:

Enjoy.
I thought after I posted that you might not know the reference.
That was a take-off of a Robin Williams famously saying to Jay Leno: “Cocaine is God’s way of saying you are making too much money”.
Sorry about that!
But front row at the Pepsi Center, I bet those were cheap!! LOL.
I went to see Rush out at The Gorge in Washington state. Brought my young son, and camped out after the show in the camping lot there.
Met up with some folks from a website. The one guy was saying how this was his 25th Rush concert this tour! He had seen two shows in England, and was traveling all over the states.
“Yeah - I’m spending my kids’s college funds. I’ve got 12 more concerts left. This might be Rush’s last tour!” (It wasn’t).
We all laughed.
“No - I’m serious. They can join the military if college is so important.”
Lots of Rush fans will hit numerous shows on a tour. I don’t get it, as Rush played all of the same songs at each stop. Although the last few tours they would have one spot where they would switch between 2 or 3 songs for different places.
I saw them in July 4,1978 when they toured with the spaceship. One of my favorite bands.
Fun Fact. Their album “No Answer” got its title when the call to them didn’t get through and the receptionist wrote “no Answer” and they went with that as the title by mistake.
The concert was amazing - I don't think Jeff's lost a thing!
Here are two picts, shot with a lousy cellphone cam:
I started watching the video you posted, just got thru “Evil Woman”. Even though this video comes from just earlier this year, I think Jeff and the band were much tighter and intense when I saw them in LA.
Great photos - love the descriptions by other FReepers about the concert, wish they were coming through Tulsa. Now, change up the initials from ELO to ELP - Emerson, Lake, & Palmer - and that is also high on my list. A check of the web shows Palmer is currently touring as a Legacy, along with a reminder that Lake died in 2016. Still glad I got to see the Eagles on the last tour with Glenn Frey.
Looks awesome. Wish I could see them again!
Geezer rock.
Isn’t “All over the World” actually “Showdown”?
Wow.....memories. Still looking and sounding great.
It’s nostalgia, just like vinyl records making a comeback.
When I hear a good pun I can’t get it out of my head
