One way they do that is by name-calling and personal attacks. Real trolls (or perhaps just weak minds) avoid arguing about facts and resort to emotional attacks and name-calling.
I try to be patient with newbies who ask “stupid” questions, but I definitely confess to having nearly zero patience with name-callers. So sue me.
