OK.. this is personal.. may I ask what carpeting is under the Baby Grand? Always envisioned a rich cream, pearlescent 56oz 1” pile, but you might be a berber girl, or it could be a sheep octet on hardwood. ?

Now that is a very good question. this Qanteen is First Class!
Since it is here in the Qanteen, the pearlescent cream might be a bit difficult to keep clean - given the tracking in of bunny dirt and all. I’ve been enjoying a rich thick Kerman carpet.

We have four of those and we occasionally rotate them. One is in Mother of Dragon’s office, and the other is in the common room in front of the piano, and the other is in the Oracle Office.
And yes, the floor is hardwood parQuet. (We HAVE to have flooring with “Q” in it, don’t we?)
It’s not a real black, sleek, shiny Baby Grand? sniff..
