Exelon Corporation is an American Fortune 100 energy company headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. It generates revenues of approximately $33.5 billion and employs approximately 34,000 people. Exelon is the largest electric parent company in the United States by revenue, the largest regulated utility in the United States with approximately 10 million customers, and also the largest operator of nuclear power plants in the United States. It was created in October 2000 by the merger of PECO Energy Company of Philadelphia and Unicom Corp of Chicago, which owned Commonwealth Edison.

Exelon operates regulated utilities in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, and Washington, DC. In October 2009, Exelon had full or majority ownership of 23 nuclear reactors in 14 nuclear power plants. Exelon has operations and business activities in 48 states, the District of Columbia and Canada, and is the largest competitive U.S. power generator with approximately 35,500 megawatts of owned capacity. Exelon merged with Constellation Energy Group in March 2012 and acquired Pepco Holdings in March 2016. Exelon consists of eight main operating subsidiaries with Exelon Generation, a deregulated energy generator, Constellation Energy Group, a deregulated competitive energy supplier, and six regulated utilities, Commonwealth Edison (Illinois), PECO Energy Company (Pennsylvania), Baltimore Gas and Electric (Maryland), Delmarva Power & Light (Delaware and Maryland), Atlantic City Electric (New Jersey), and Potomac Electric Power Company (Washington, DC and Maryland).

Excelon has connections to Loop Capital

Loop Capital Markets served as a senior co-placement agent on a three-tranche, $400 million, first mortgage bond offering of Exelon subsidiaries (Delmarva Power & Light, Potomac Electric Power Company and PEPCO) which officially closed on June 8, 2018.

The secured notes for each of the three utility subsidiaries were issued across a 30-year tenor.

“This merger creates the number one competitive energy provider with one of the industry’s cleanest and lowest-cost power generation fleets and one of the largest commercial, industrial and residential customer bases in the United States,” Exelon’s chief executive, John W. Rowe, said in a statement.

The deal, pending regulatory and shareholder approval, is expected to close by early 2012.

For Exelon, Barclays Capital, J.P. Morgan Securities, Evercore Partners and Loop Capital Markets served as financial advisers and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom as legal counsel. Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse Securities were Constellation’s financial advisers, and Kirkland & Ellis acted as legal counsel.

Excelon also connected to Rosatom (of uranium one fame)

https://www.reuters.com/article/exelon-russia-uranium-idAFL3103260920090603

MOSCOW, June 3 (Reuters) - Russia’s state nuclear firm Rosatom sealed a uranium supply deal with U.S. utility Exelon Corp (EXC.N) on Wednesday and voiced plans to issue a 100 billion rouble bond as it intensifies its global expansion.

Last week, the company said it had “broken down the wall” into the U.S. uranium market by striking three landmark deals to supply nuclear fuel worth more than $1 billion to U.S. power firms PG&E (PCG.N), Ameren Corp (AEE.N) and Luminant.

U.S. anti-dumping laws, which were relaxed last year, had previously only allowed Russia to sell the United States uranium recovered from dismantled Soviet nuclear weapons.
These sales are carried out through U.S. uranium trader USEC Inc USU.N, which had an effective monopoly on Russian uranium imports under the so-called “megatons to megawatts” scheme established.

Q mentioned Loop and Loop capital several times.

I have no idea what to make of it. LARP? Just a crazy person? Legit? Very strange and rambling, but supposedly written by someone who was a victim of cultists.

He says he is “Alan of the QMAP”. I’m not sure what that means.

But thought I’d post in case anyone wants to read this or knows what Alan of the QMAP means.

I saw a post by somebody else, I forget who, about Exelon, but I didn't make too much of it because of the lack of a "C". But the "EXC" stock symbol clinches it.

I think you guys may totally be onto something here, edzo.

Bagster

Is Q pointing at these connections you make here? And is this connected to Uranium 1?

Curiouser and curiouser.

p.s. Excellent work!

A couple more points on EXC:

1) They crashed hard in the 2008-2009 financial crisis, indicating close ties to the Wall Street crony-financing (aka "shadow banking//credit derivatives") racket.

2) EXC, the largest owner of nuclear power plants in the USA, is backing a carbon tax.

Surprise, surprise!

The new group, called Americans for Carbon Dividends and co-chaired by former U.S. senators Trent Lott and John Breaux, hopes to build momentum for legislation that Congress could pass after the 2020 presidential race.

Exelon Corp. EXC, -0.17% , a utility, plans to provide $1 million in funding for the campaign.
