WASHINGTON — A George Mason University student will effectively serve three years in prison for selling LSD to a fraternity brother who died from falling out a fifth-floor window.
Alejandro Porrata admitted selling LSD to 19-year-old Tristan Medina in September. Three days after the sale, Medina ran and crashed through a dorm building window on the Fairfax, Virginia, campus. Porrata faced a charge of distribution of a controlled drug.
“You are a drug dealer,” a judge told Porrata, according to WTOP’s news partners at NBC Washington. “You did a very stupid thing, and as a result, your family is suffering, the Medina family is suffering, and you will suffer as well.”
Porrata received a 10-year sentence, with seven of those years suspended. He also must serve 100 hours of community service.
Both Porrata and Medina were members of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity.
Drug dealers should get the death penalty! If children are the drug dealers then their supplier should get the death penalty!

The 19 year-old man was a victim of his own self-medicating. I see no reason to charge somebody with murder.
How about liquor store owners and distillers? Should they get the death penalty? Lots of their customers die from their products.

Should liquor store owners get the death penalty every time someone who buys their liquor kills other people?
I think they just charged him with distribution of the drug, and not the man’s death, if I read that correctly.
He isn’t responsible for the man’s death IMO.
No one forced the man to eat the drug as far as I know.

That is one of the more crazier frats in the country. My husband belonged to it in the 60s. I think the fraternity got kicked off campus not too long ago.
I said Drug dealers. Alcohol is legal. Most drugs are not. Do you want to make them legal? I propose this to stop drugs.

So the huge number of deaths caused by those alcohol dealers is A-OK, no death penalty for them, simply because they have a license? Right? But someone selling pot for instance, should get the death penalty?
The thing is, pot does not cause death.
Very rare for LSD to cause death, is it not?
