The 19 year-old man was a victim of his own self-medicating. I see no reason to charge somebody with murder.
I think they just charged him with distribution of the drug, and not the man’s death, if I read that correctly.
He isn’t responsible for the man’s death IMO.
No one forced the man to eat the drug as far as I know.
