Didn’t he also actually call it the “military, industrial, CONGRESSIONAL” complex? Seems to me I stumbled over that one a few months ago.
If you look at the transcript down toward the bottom of his speech, he warns about both the Military Industrial complex, and Scientific-technological elite. The left tends to focus on the threat of the miltary side. I think that they support scientific-technological-academnic because they see themselves as part of this elite.
I might say more But I am really starting to zone out.
