I wish he would forget about the NFL.
Much bigger fish to fry.
I quit watching when the Denver Broncos took a knee. Have not watched NFL since then.
It’s important because young people will be encouraged to hate their country. It’s dangerous because it can spread and has spread.

He’s fighting the culture war - probably the biggest and most important war of our times.
I’m very glad he’s doing. Our side has for way to long simply folded at every skirmish. Look where it’s gotten us.
Really?
I’m thrilled!
This is a very serious issue with President Trump.
He talks about our flag and patriotism at all his rallies.
The NFL continues to screw with its wishy-washy policy.
Roger Goodell is a $50,000,000 a year “pussy” Commissioner.
It’s an interesting, and politically unremarkable diversion that can be reintroduced as needed.
“I wish he would forget about the NFL...Much bigger fish to fry.”
Some of us APPRECIATE a president who hits back when a bunch of race-baiting spoiled brats get IN OUR FACES when we simply want to watch what used to be the national sport...
...and, I guess, some of us do not.
He can fry all the fish in world simultaneously, thanks in part to twitter.
He can’t lose by kicking it again.
Giving the media stupid stuff to opine and bloviate over. He’s also backhandedly giving them good ratings. So they have to like him cuz they a bunch of $ lusters. At the same time he treats them with great disdain....and carries on with solid economic and policy ideas and decisions. If the media would report straight facts and saved their opinions for later...but they need the ratings...they could save their credibility...which is lower than whale caca.

My comment honestly was more about the POTUS taking a break from conflict than it was about football. I should have made that clear and yes I know Im dreaming. :)
I completely agree that NFL players should not take a knee and feel he has made his point clear.
Geaux New Orleans Saints. Who dat!
Bear in mind, Mr. Trump owned a USFL team.
Explains the interest, methinks.
NFL fans are a hotbed of potential Trump supporters. Those that agree with the President on this are going to vote for him.
Yeah! Its not like he can multitask!
‘Much bigger fish to fry.’
disagree...perception is everything, and this football imbroglio is a very visible signal of the social fracture in the country, a signal to which almost anyone can relate...
So ultimately he puts these tweets out and lets the media and the hollywood people and the athletes take the side that the majority hates. Which they very predictably do. And they lose some credibility, some likability.
Trump is trying to fight the deep state (sort of) and flip the economy back to great and end crazy regulations. AND he's trying to begin taking back the culture from anti-American radical leftists too. This is part of that last one.
