Did Trump-Hating FBI Agents Ignore Evidence That A 'Foreign Entity' Hacked Clinton's Emails?
Investor's Business Daily ^ | 7/18/2018 | IBD Editorial Board

Email Scandal: Last week we learned that a "foreign entity" may have been secretly receiving Hillary Clinton's emails while she was Secretary of State, including many that contained classified information. And that the FBI apparently ignored this information during its "investigation." The reaction by the press to this bombshell? Crickets.

At one point during Peter Strzok's congressional testimony last week, Rep. Louie Gohmert made a stunning claim: FBI investigators were told that Clinton's emails had been surreptitiously forwarded to a "foreign entity." And the FBI investigators who were allegedly conducting a thorough, unbiased, professional probe into Clinton's mishandling of classified materials ignored it.

Here's the eye-opening exchange between Gohmert and Strzok (you can watch the exchange on C-SPAN):

Gohmert: You said earlier in this hearing you were concerned about a hostile foreign power affecting the election. Do you recall the former Intelligence Community Inspector General Chuck McCullough having an investigation into an anomaly found on Hillary Clinton's emails?

And will the mainstream press ever show the slightest interest in this development?

I assume that this question that you close your essay with is rhetorical.

BTW I think the IBD has a really great editorial page/staff. Thank you.

I think POTUS is going to make sure the truth about this is declassifed and released as a part of his October surprise.

If the Leftist media won’t cover it, then the conservative media needs to be on the case (OANN, Breitbart, etc). We need to stop hoping the Leftists will do our bidding.

The fbi investigation of hillary was and is an intentional and planned obstruction of justice of the highest order. This is tyranny.

her emails, every single one except four, over 30,000, were going to an address that was not on the distribution list... an unauthorized source that was a foreign entity unrelated to Russia

I can understand investigators being able to discover that there was a foreign address that Hillary's emails were going to, but discovering who was using that address is another matter.

Seems like foreign gov'ts like China or Russia could cover their tracks.

So I'd guess the "foreign entity," if investigators do know who it is (and apparently they do, because they rule out Russia), is nongovernmental. That may explain the use of the term "entity" rather than "country."

This has all been handled so poorly. Maybe there are 8D chess forces at work, but if I’m President, I’m holding a press conference where I challenge the media.

When they start up with “Do you trust Putin more than US intelligence agencies!!!!!!!!!!”

Challenge them on this intelligence. “Why has the FBI never looked at the DNC server?”. Why have you never asked them why they haven’t looked at the server? Where is the proof that Russian involvement, if there was any, effected even a single vote? Are you ever going to do the job you’re supposed to be doing? If so, when do you start doing it?”

Hold a new press conference every day to ask them about their progress and challenge them on additional areas of inquiry. Things like Assange. Remind them that his name was Seth Rich. If they’re doing nothing, mock them mercilessly for being pathetic, partisan hacks. Refuse to talk about anything else until they start looking into the things they should have been looking into since day 1.

Trump is a fighter. The first one we had in decades. But he’s not been fighting this war intelligently. Just tweeting “Fake News!!” a couple of times a week is not a grand strategy.

"Seems like foreign gov'ts like China or Russia could cover their tracks."

Well, it would seem that they unable to cover their tracks when it came to the DNC server.. 12 Russians indicted. Seems odd that everything works so well for the dimocraps and the republics can't even find the door to the rest room....

Not to mention the media flagging them in! I trust the FBI and CIA but not at their highest ranks. The fish rots from the head.

The tragedy is that these disingenous fools have put us in a position where there is even a possibility that we might trust Putin more than them. Heck, we cannot trust them to serve or prepare our food. The problem is not Putin. Not Trump. And not us.
