I’ve never been interested in genealogy as dates. My interest is bringing the dead back to life by letting them shine as people one more time. These people were fascinating to me because they were right in the center of history.

Henry’s brother Gilbert, according to The What Ifs of History, might have been responsible for the adoption of the US Constitution when he voted for NY’s acceptance of it. And his cousins were the signers and the forefathers. Henry, himself, marched to invade Canada in 1775, after Bunker Hill.
I love genealogy’s little stories. Watts Sherman acting as constable and climbing down the chimney to take back a stolen silk dress. The future wife of the originator of the anti-slavery society being taken in for years by Alexander Hamilton after her mother’s death, and being driven to dancing lessons by the lady across the street, Martha Washington. These stories turn these people real for me.

Catherine Herridge made a good point that Lisa Paige now has the advantage of knowing what PS said in testimony. I question the wisdom of having these hearings on TV. I like to see them squirm though. LP should not have had such latitude in when to testify. If the information is all known it doesn’t really matter does it?

And 'games' at the Federal level have many ways of hitting citizens up-side the head and in their pocketbooks and freedoms far more than most folks realize.
Given how often and how well POTUS TRUMP has verified his cooperation with, use of Q-Anon--your claim of 'it's only' a game falls exceedingly flat, to me. Actually, it is a demonstration of such poor reality testing that it leaves me wondering just how generally informed you are.

Good question. The President did not tweet “Where is Sessions?”.
But we know who the AG is, or do we?
The tweet was in reference to Page not showing up. She and Strzok were part of the Russian interference investigation. Sessions is recused from that.
My personal belief is that Sessions made promises during his confirmation to defer the Russia matter. Much to the consternation of the President, the Deputy AG stepped in and sat on aspects that show a plan had been hatched to implicate the President or the President’s campaign in collusion with Russians.
The Deputy AG had recommended the firing of Comey. But what people don’t know is that HRC hated Comey for what he had done and blamed him for her loss. When this info is coupled with knowledge of the Deputy AG’s wife and her strong ties to the Clintons and the Clinton Foundation, it becomes clearer that the Deputy AG is a possible agent for the Clinton camp.
“Where is the Attorney General?” On this, Sessions is missing and the Deputy AG is sitting on evidence and is not responding, presumably to run out the clock to the midterms.
“Trust Sessions” is a hopeful and supported belief that the Horowitz-Huber alliance arranged by Sessions is preparing the cuffs for those who plotted against the President of the United States.
40,000+ verified sealed indictments, a historic anomaly, lend credence to the IG-Huber effort. In a normal year, about 1000 sealed indictments are expected. There is strong belief such a large number is the result of Huber working with the IG’s 450 special investigators.
I am also mindful of Obama’s statement in 2009 that a civilian defense force equal in numbers or budget or ... to that of the military was necessary. I don’t recall Obama explaining the purpose of such a large domestic force but the policies of attacking Obama’s opposition using the IRS or the FBI in the case of the Hammonds, or the BLM in the case of the Bundys, and a string of other such cases, leads one to believe Obama was erecting a force to turn on the bitter clingers, the Tea Partiers, or any target of opportunity.
So I ask is it possible that Obama caused a ‘deep state’ to be created or expanded that would work to suppress and attack the right wing or any target thought to be a threat to the left?
And are Strzok and Page just a glimpse of the surface of this large deep state?

The boyfriend is doing a surprisingly capable job of presenting himself. Of course he & the DIMRATS are still as hypocritical & treasonous as blazes but he doesn’t seem to be flinching and comes across as well prepared and “proper” on the surface. I hope they shred him before he leaves the room, however. I had to quit watching. Too easy for me to rage at the DIMRATS.

The stories... Your writing certainly captivated me! I often think of the people who came before me and wonder about their lives. Wish I knew stories of my ancestors and that I could share them as vividly as you.
That’s when my mind wandered and I found myself thinking about the family genealogy books in my possession. Unfortunately, many of them are dry recitations of who was born when, married on what date and to whom, the names of their children, and date of death.
I agree with your observation that the stories children recall are the ones told by grandparents of their parents.
Our middle child earned his B.A., majoring in English with a minor in Creative Writing - he most enjoys poetry. I will definitely be sharing your book with him! In fact, I am adding it to the Christmas gift list. Yes! I have already begun...
