I don't disagree with Texokie, except, that WE are not responsible for what traitors do or did. Like I said-the USA has NOTHING to apologize for. So we had some treasonous SOBs. So did the colonies have treasonous jerks. We just had a bunch of the worst for 8 years in the last Administration. Trump has a big mess he's working on cleaning up.
Treason happens, it has to be dealt with. It is not an excuse to let in every tom dick and harry plus Muhammad Juan, and Pedro in the whole freakin world.

Greeneyes, I am not blaming you nor any other American other than the traitors themselves. Nor am I taking anything away from the heroism of our military in WWII and other wars.
If you knew all about FDR, you were ahead of me. I knew something about Yalta, but had no idea until recently about the depths of depravity of that administration.
What set me off in this thread was the point about the Jewish refugees being turned away ... and I knew that was directly related, at least in part, to the Soviet-controlled White House, and Soviet-influenced news media (like the NYT).

I guess the relationship to Q is that I feel this FAKE HISTORY is at the root of what we are fighting against today. I just feel so outraged about the lies I was taught in high school, college and after that in the media (which should be a medium of adult education), that I feel like crying out from the rooftops.

GE, that really is an important point and distinction to make. You have divided the underlying issue very well, imho.
As only an illustrative example, and not a theological reference, we do not have to accept the figurative hand washing ritual of an evil Pontius Pilat kind of character that manipulates us into accepting the consequences of the sins of the one doing the hand washing.
We do NOT have to accept the concept that whatever the evil ones do and decide in our name, “Let it be on our heads”....along with the silent implication “and not yours.”
All too often we, the good people, have had the habit of pursuing and accepting that very practice of giving evil people blank checks which they insist on cashing.
We should not do that anymore. No more. It is not right. It is not Good.
