Hey Phillman, good morning!
Marx used the words Socialism and Communism interchangeably. Lenin said that the best way to defeat the opposition is to be the opposition.
The 1910 Websters College Dictionary defined fascism as (from memory): “A political system that espouses government control of business and industry, government control of media and the press, government control of education, and forceble suppression of dissent.”
Sometime in the 1930s they updated “especially from the right.” (A Stalinist attempt to distingish themselves form Nazism.)
Both sides use the same violent tactics and have pretty much the same objectives. They urge distinctions with very little difference. (If you were German you might have some genetic privilege and the State would rent you back to yourself. The Soviets owned you outright.)
The left likes to misidentify conservatives as Fascists—a lie that should always be challenged. (Government control of Business and industry? Please!)
Hmmmmm...something about someone eliminating regulations on businesses comes to mind.
THanks for the info. The “left/right” crap has made me sick for a long time. What does it even refer to? Something in the British Parliament? Commiepukedom of various shades is all.
