THanks for the info. The “left/right” crap has made me sick for a long time. What does it even refer to? Something in the British Parliament? Commiepukedom of various shades is all.
Its time to reject the Right Left political architecture that is forced on us.
Maybe we need to re-design our political universe on an XYZ axis instead of a 2 dimensional line. I suppose its easier to get “the agitatibles” into an Us versus Them tug of war. what did Alinski say? Keep it simple.

Left/Right, I believe, came from the Assembly after the French revolution. The parties split into factions that sat on the left and the right side of the hall, and the left were the more radical side. Later, when socialism rose, they adopted that terminology. It doesn’t really apply to America, we are not in a spectrum between pure communism and pure whatever its opposite is, we are a free market republic with supposedly limited government, and our spectrum is on an entirely different line from theirs.
