Over the past few months, Donald Trump has tempered his threats to fire Robert Mueller, recognizing that he can just as easily undermine the special counsel in the court of public opinion. The strategy has been crude but, like a 19th-century bone saw, brutally effective. Rather than involve himself with personnel issues at the Justice Department, which Trump’s lawyers have surely advised him could be seen as further evidence of obstruction, the president has constructed an alternate reality in which the F.B.I. was part of a rabid conspiracy to prevent his election and the only “real collusion” was committed by his Democratic enemies.
He has tested the bounds of his constitutional powers, asserting unprecedented executive privileges including legal immunity, the ability to pardon himself, and to shut down federal investigations. As the Russia investigation races toward a conclusion, however, Trump and his Republican allies are due for a reckoning.
Mueller is reportedly winding down his obstruction probe—an interview with Trump is likely to be the capstone to that investigation—and moving on to whether there was an underlying crime to cover up.

So, there you have it: straight, no chaser. The purpose of the Mueller investigation has always been to "Get Trump", and at this point it's a two-fer, they are going to "Get Trump" and throw the midterms in the process.

Well, duh. When the beta "men" and bull dagget "women" sit around their conference room going over the Mueller "investigation", they have a saying...…

"Trust the plan."

I think you are pretty excited about it too, Jack, only lately you've been more subtle about expressing your excitement.

I believe the Vanity Fair writer, whom you cite with approval, and other Mockingbirds are laboring to raise false hopes that the failed Mueller witch hunt is JUST ABOUT TO FILE indictments so that any exposure or possible removal of Mueller can be portrayed as an attempt to "silence" him. It hasn't been going well for Mueller - months have transpired, he's got nothing, and he's become an embarrassing laughing stock; you can't get a good riot going based on the exposure/removal of an embarrassing laughing stock.

Time to gin up the excitement and make a valiant hero out of Mueller. But that's what I'd expect from Mockingbird publications like Vanity Fair and Bloomberg.

I find very interesting that your comments seem to suggest that 1. You alone have figured this all out (not by a long shot but who really cares) and 2. That you seem to imply shock of some sort that this is/was the plan all along. Wondering why you seem shocked when you also profess that you’ve figured it all out?

To me I don’t give a second thought to ones sign up date here, rather I read what is presented and your silly alt right nonsense was telling.
