You don’t sent swat/HRT team on a plane unless there is a perceived threat. This is not a typical response to a mechanical issue. Where was the aircraft held on the tarmac? Was it far away from the terminal in safe area in the event of potential disaster?
Me thinks radio was not the real issue. Rather, there was a perceived threat to that flight and it was averted.

That plane yesterday was surrounded by what looked like in the short twatter video linked on the thread, at least 25 or more emergency vehicles from fire engines, ambulences, cop cars, big black LE vans of some kind, etcetc. All flashing.
Not because of a mech. issue.
