That plane yesterday was surrounded by what looked like in the short twatter video linked on the thread, at least 25 or more emergency vehicles from fire engines, ambulences, cop cars, big black LE vans of some kind, etcetc. All flashing.

Official version is that the plane was having communications issues, radio was not fully functioning, and entered the wrong code in error.
Entered (squawked) code 7500 (hijack) instead of 7600 (comms issue).

I have a friend who has a contact in the Pentagon. He reached out to his contact about the plane incident at JFK and was told: “Let it go for a few days.” and then the phone was hung up.
